Our group lessons start at 2 years old. With prior approval and discussion with our team, we can do privates starting at 1 year old.

Swim Diaper - Required for children under 4 who are not potty trained.

Goggles - Only if the instructor has let you know its time.

Towel - If you plan to head to the Cafe after swim, you must be completely dry. A secured towel is a must!

Appropriate Swimwear - Important for comfort and mobility.

We structure lessons to start with water comfortability and water safety. Our first goal is always that swimmers learn to be safe and water smart. Once we feel they are ready, we start working on beginner strokes.

Lessons are 30 minutes to optimise learning opportunities and focused time for the chidlren.

We use a progressive structure to our swim lessons, which means we start with overcoming fear and getting comfortable with movement in the water. Each child progresses at their own pace, but consistent swimming lessons make a big difference in how quickly they progress.

For our group classes we have 4 students to 1 instructor.

Our teachers have training in both regular swimming lessons and adapative aquatics. They are also American Red Cross Lifeguards with CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.

All The Float Club LLC instructors are background checked and checked on the NSOPW.

The Float Club LLC works closely with hotel management to ensure that the pool is clean and sanitized for use. The Float Club owner holds a Certified Pool Operator certificate, and the hotel maintenance checks the pools chemicals many times throughout the day.
